What’s your role at Retail24?
I work as a Sales & Customer Relation Manager. I have the responsibility for all our services (Sales, Merchandising, Demo, POSM and Tracker) in Denmark, and for five of our customers in the Nordics.I make sure that we deliver to all our customers on our 4 business principles, which are:
– Quality
– Flexibility
– Availability
– Cost efficiency
So it is very exciting and not one day is the same 🙂
What were you doing before Retail24?
I was a store manager for 6 years.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I don’t have a typical day! That what`s great about my job, not one day is the same 🙂 I work with my local team in Denmark and also across Nordics. I do everything from following up on customer cases, developing new ideas for customers and visiting stores.
What attracted you to work at Retail24?
My journey in Retail24 started almost 6 years ago. I worked in another company as a sales promoter for one specific brand. Retail24 got the customer as a Nordic customer and then I moved to Retail24, and that is where my journey started. I first started as a Teamleader, then I got Demo Manager and now Sales & Customers Relations Manager.
So if you ask me what makes me stay in Retail24, it`s the great culture in the company. We have a great management & leadership team and many opportunities to grow with my colleagues and customers.
Retail24 is a company with a short line from “word to action”. Because of this short line in communication between field and management, we have the ability to make quick decisions and act fast. This suits me very well! If you ask some of my colleagues they would say that I don’t have the greatest patience 🙂
One of the absolute best assets with Retail24 is working across the Nordics, working with different cultures and to learn about the differences that are in the Nordic retail markets.
If the story of Retail24 was made into a film, who would play you?
Hmmm this one is hard:-) – If I could choose then it would be Jennifer Aniston:-)
Do you have a motto for life?
Hmm not really, but there are some mottos that I think are good and inspiring: “If you never try, you`ll never know”
And if you ask my colleagues and customers they will probably say that I use this one a lot: “Teamwork makes the dream work”
If you could try another profession for a day, what would it be?
I love working for and helping people, so it would be something like a doctor 🙂
If you’re not working where can you usually be found?
The classic things! I like spending time with family and friends. As much as possible my time is spent in Kolding, where my family lives and I have two great nieces that I`m totally in love with 🙂
